Future of IEEE-CS
WAP Members (& friends)
The IEEE-CS, one of our "big brother" professional societies in the US, is thinking about how it will obtain and provide IP (intellectual property) to its members and the public in the future. The thinking process is described in this article by Sorel Reisman. This material would seem to be directly relevant to the research we are doing into the desirable and necessary web future for CIPS.
Note: Canadian copyright law allows fair dealing copies of IP material for use by private study or research. I'm viewing the work of WAP as research (into the future of CIPS). My lay interpretation is that I should be okay making copies available, but only for the pruposes of research.
