CIPS has decided to offer an online examination on ethics for the IT professional. This will be a voluntary exam, at least initially. Anyone will be free to review the background material and to take the online examination. For a small fee, CIPS will provide a certificate to those who successfully complete the exam. The fee for non-members may be higher than for members. CIPS will maintain a roster of members who have successfully completed the exam - members will have the option of not being included.
